Too many sites..

by Bryden

So it has been a LONG time since I posted my last post.. but that is not because I don’t want to post, I have just been WAY to busy doing other sites..

To start, I have two client sites I am working on, which really isn’t that much.  But add that to the at least 5 project sites I am working on for myself/future businesses, my plate is full with sites.  However, once I get the client sites done (almost there!), and can get these other sites up and running, it will be worth it.

More to come on the business ideas I have!!

New blog

by Bryden

I finally got around to updating BrydenTweedy.com to Wordpress.  It was using Foresmo, but with how much work needs to be done with it, Wordpress is a better option at this time.  Foresmo is going to be phenomenal once its done, but it could be a while.

Since I have taken down the Foresmo blog, and up until this point, a lot has happened for me.  Firstly, Anthony and I decided to dissolve Redlink Technology Solutions.  Between both of us having full time jobs, social lives, and me having to learn A LOT to catch back up to Anthony, it just was not working out.  Honestly, if I had the time to learn everything, I know we could have done a lot of damage in the industry.  Anthony is just light years ahead of where I am and I just do not have the time to devote to catch back up with him.

Second, I got a promotion at work.  I am now a QA Analyst II (ooo, an extra I next to my title!!!).  Basically, nothing has changed.  I don’t have any more responsibility, I am not doing anything different.  Maybe this is because I was doing more than I was supposed to be before?  Or maybe I am slacking?  Either way, my manager seems to like what I am doing, so I am going to go with the former :) .

Third, Alex and I joined a gym today.  My sole reason for joining was the fact that there is a basketball court.  It’s not even a “real” basketball court — not a wood floor or permanent hoops.  Now, they’re not the hoops you see in someone’s front door, but they definitely aren’t the kind of hoops you see on a “real” basketball court.  I have just been itching to go play basketball so bad, but there are no open court gyms out here.  I did find one a while back out in Mt. Pleasant, but their open gym times are hard to come by.  Last time I checked, they had an open gym from 1-2:30 on a Wednesday — well, I am at work, so that won’t work.  The other option was to play on outdoor courts at parks.  This isn’t a bad option, except for all the damned bugs around here.  As soon as you step outside in the evening, you are swarmed by birds mosquitoes.  And as soon as you start sweating, they get worse — so that’s not really an option.  Gym was the only other option I had.  It really isn’t bad priced, and I can use any of the 13+ in the area so as long as I actually go, it’ll be worth it.
